Physical Security
All the software in the world can't help against a physical breach. That's why our datacenters are equipped with multi-factor security elements to protect access to critical network, server, and power infrastructure. Everyone entering is required to authenticate with something they have and something they know. In addition, cameras are strategically placed throughout the facilities and video data is maintained for up to ninety days.
Redundant Power
Our data centers are supported by redundant power systems to reduce the possibility of outages. Our UPS and power generation platforms are regularly maintained by certified professionals. Power to our Kansas City canters is provided by award winning Kansas City Power and Light (KCP&L). Long duration power outages are rare at these facilities, but diesel fuel delivery contracts are in place to assure uninterrupted availability of power just in case.
Continuous Cooling
If you know anything about computers you know that cooling is vital. The more powerful the hardware, the more important cooling becomes.All of our data center space is designed with at least N+1 redundancy to provide continuous cooling to our equipment. Our cooling systems operate independently and are regularly serviced on a schedule recommended by our vendors. You can't get this kind of reliable cooling in a garage.
